This afternoon, Murgitroyd awarded the winners of the Innovator Launchpad 2018/19 in Edinburgh!
In October 2018, Murgitroyd launched their 3rd Innovator Launchpad Competition with the aim to help early-stage innovative businesses.
We know and are big fans of both winners from the previous rounds (Turtle Pack and uFraction8), who are the reason we found out about the competition.
Being an early-stage innovative business, we decided to submit an entry and we were delighted to make it to the top 10! At the second stage, we received overwhelming support from the public vote, finishing in first place with over 800 votes!
As one of the top 3 businesses, we attended an interview with the judges for the final round of the competition. Our founder, Martina did a fantastic job at the interview, securing us an outstanding 2nd place!
The well-deserved Windstorm Renewables scooped 1st place and 3rd place went to circular-economy superstars Designed for Life.
All three finalists in the Innovator Launchpad Competition are working in a low-carbon sector, promoting sustainability and contributing towards helping our planet.
We are extremely thankful that with the support of Murgitroyd, early-stage innovative businesses like us can get a step closer to making a difference in the world!
